A Grateful Journey as Host of Libby’s Luncheonette

Thank you WCHE 95.3 FM/1520 AM!

Big heart-felt thank you to Barry Dee and WCHE 95.3 FM 1520 AM who recognized me as November’s Employee of the Month.

My journey as host of Libby’s Luncheonette has been fun, meaningful and rewarding– part of something bigger than myself.
💟 Sharing on-trend, timely and relative nutrition and food information that is entertaining, inspiring, useful, and delicious that listeners can trust, is what people need when trying to make the best decisions for their health and the health of their families.
💟 Supporting local business is vital to what make our West Chester community so great.  Over the years, I’ve talked with numerous restaurant owners, non-profits and businesses.
💟 Working with West Chester University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson University students, I have enjoyed sharing knowledge and giving communication experiences in sustainability, nutrition and cooking. These experiences have helped numerous students advance one more step towards their goals.
💟 Advocating for the health and wellbeing of our communities, the environment, ourselves and our families through topics that discuss food from its farm production to the many cultural ways that it is enjoyed and brings people together.  Food connects us to what it most meaningful.

💟 Giving back to the Borough of West Chester community that I love as an on-sight on-air reporter, has allowed me to support events like the West Chester Parks and Recreation’s Turks Head Music Festival and Fiorenza’s Food For Friends (F4) West Chester Chili Cook-Off.  This year, I was proud to support Barry Dee and TEAM WCHE with Erick Klambara and Steve to take third place with their Southwest White Chili supporting the mission—to eliminate hunger.

Thank you WCHE for this recognition and the journey that has been so meaningful to me over the years.
